When a painter paints a landscape, he or she first roughly
sketches in the background of sky and distant perspective. This is a very important step
because it will usually determine the emotional content and overall balance of the
painting, whether it is gloomy and cloudy or sunny and bright. Similarly, the general
manner in which the planets are distributed around your horoscope determines the general
shape of your personality structure. What follows is the background material that you can

Given the choice, you prefer to be in charge of your own destiny, rather than

choose the one that offers the most resistance. You love a challenge. While this can be
very helpful in certain business and career situations, it can be quite problematic if
applied to an attempt to maintain smooth personal interrelationships. Be careful to choose
partners who do not mind a little stress now and then.
Once you have decided on a course of action, either in a relationship or
in your career or business, you will not allow others to alter your choice. You proceed on
your course dike a bulldozer, clearing everything in your path, no matter what. It is not
the fact that you have made a choice of action that gets you in trouble, but your method
of getting there. If you choose to act in a brutal and compulsive manner, you may win, but

It seems that every time that you get comfortable and feel secure, especially in
relationships, something happens to cause things to become disturbingly more and more
emotionally complicated. Ahnost perversely you seem to want to take the relationship to an
ever deeper and more intense level, making you feel more and more guilty and miserable.
You or your partner runs the risk of becoming increasingly manipulative or jealous and the
relationship turns into a vicious cycle of one crisis after another. Try to relax and
enjoy the relative peace in between the upheavals. Lower your intensity level a bit if you
can. and develop a more reserved and detached attitude to the chaos around you.
Your emotional responses are very strong, especially those of a sexual nature. Others find
your earthy, direct approach to love and sex attractive, even seductive. You pursue your
desires with a lusty enthusiasm and you have a great need both to give and receive
affection. You have great creative potential, being able to take raw materials and turn
them into your own specific idea of what is beautiful and attractive.
Your relationships do not seem to last very long and that bothers you. It's not that you
are incapable of caring deeply, the problem is that you have a relatively short attention
span. You need to feel that you can leave a relationship at the drop of a hat in order to
feel comfortable. You must realize that it is unrealistic to expect others to be able to
grant you this much freedom easily. You may appear to be undependable and irresponsible,
but it may just be the best thing for all concerned if you do not try to hang on to

You have such a charming, warm, engaging and sincere personality that others immediately
like you. Your popularity stems from your own need to socialize -- you like others as much
as they like you. A strong sense of fairness and appropriateness and decorum makes you the
ideal peacemaker and diplomat. You will go out of your way to make everything around you
harmonious and tranquil.
You prefer that things around you always be laid back, peaceful and placid. In order to
maintain this, you sometimes compromise yourself too much, always giving in and giving
way. By doing this, you often find that you have given away what you wanted to preserve
and find yourself left with nothing you value, including your self respect. Try not to
