This book achieves several purposes:
(1) It teaches us what transpersonal astrology and synthesis are.
(2) It gives specific examples of holistic therapy through use of
charts.
(3) It shows many approaches to interpreting and offers several ones
the reader probably hasn't run into.
(4) It candidly discusses the disclosures of the author to permit
specific understanding of behavior and psychological effects in astrology.
The book gives and gives. So much is new. And it's all
oriented to raising our consciousness through astrological counseling. Since Khier is a
transpersonal therapist, he aims the work at the process of healing for spiritual growth.
More than learning a lot, we actually get a new slant on astrology,
counseling, and transpersonal approaches to God from Jungian angles and those of
Psychosynthesis; but mostly the direction is broad-based on astrological symbols.
In India Khier studied spirituality from his Teacher, Kirpal Singh
whose chart Khier reveals for us to understand what a realized person's is like in
astrology. He also offers commentary on other spiritual beings, as well as their charts.
