" Family-trees
that remember your grandfather's name "
---Stephen Vincent Benet

Our lives, a series of memories, is mostly what we have to look back on, and to pass on to our families and to those who love us. In times like these our memories of family, friends, and beauty hold us together and make our souls joyous to be alive. Here's a photographic History illustration of what your Family History might look like over the years. The pictures (some from old photos and some from my cameras) are placed on a video DVD along with the interviews for your pleasure and memories. (Be aware that the originals are vibrant & clear; Web copies are somewhat washed out and smeared at this resolution.) |
|
In the following Illustration of a Family History, selections of Shots are listed. The 2nd column has a thumbnail of the large Collage of more pictures than are in the 3rd column. This series was from the point of view of the Granddaughter. Yours can be arranged in the way you prefer, and have (or not have) collage types. Check out the many different styles of Collages.
This is a collection of pictures of my family. My name is Sommer, but I don't come in till the end:

I never met my Great-great grandfather Ed who was with Evelyn awhile. He didn't fully raise my Great-grandmother Gerry here (runs in the family). He did spend some time with Granddad Jackie though. |

|
| GGF Ed again with his wife Rose who was another Grandma to Jackie (though not blood). Jackie had 8 grandparents at one point. The other person here is Nellie, Rose's mother. |

The empty circle in the Collage is Johnny's dad, Emil (Hilda's husband who left). Johnny never forgave him, and we have no pictures. He was my other Great-Great-Grandfather--& gave Jackie his first guitar & car).

Great-Great-Grandma Hilda, mother of Johnny. She died in 1957, I
