Ordering and Prices
Artists aren't good at marketing, and I'm terrible. I feel guilty about translating my poetry, paintings, books, and novels into cash. So bear with me while I work to get over this hippy attitude. Because of this reluctance, I still haven't put prices on each work, and I'm sure I'll keep changing these.
The image you receive is only suggested by the Web image. The digital piece is exquisitely smooth and glossed like a photograph on highest quality rich thick photographic paper at a size that is formidable on your wall. 13" x 19" is quite large and impressive, especially if in an 18 x 24 frame or 14x20. The Mandalas display beautifully in a square to keep the symmetry of the enclosed usually round content. Most of you have never such work, or seen it in the print I do. It is truly stunning.
You can buy a
piece in several ways. The simplest way for some of you who can work with
SVG or large Jpg files and have or can understand downloading Adobe's SVG viewer, is to pay
me in Paypal, I email you the painting, and you print it out on your printer
(which has to be able to do 13" wide) or take the file to Kinko's or
Staples. An ordinary 8.5x11
printer will cut the work up.
I'm reluctant to do this for anyone I don't know
because having the SVG file is as good as having the original which can then be
reprinted forever.
2nd is to pay Paypal, then I mail the painting or paintings rolled nicely in a mailer-tube. I can point you to inexpensive thin metal framing if you don't have your own resources.
I'm not into shipping frames and glass, so to buy my works very modestly framed would need to be in person, say at a show, or some local way.
There are of course variations on all these methods that might also work.
As to prices:
$38.00 for an electronic SVG version.
$44.00 + $5.00 S&H for a 13"x13" Mandala or Painting. You then frame it as you will.
$47.00+ $5.00 S&H for a 13"x19" (or 19x13) Mandala or Painting, unless otherwise marked. You then frame it as you will.
$65.00 framed for any piece (unless otherwise marked). This bargain is excellent because these sizes are Custom. The frame is 1/2" & requires you to furnish a foam core backing the size of the painting or picture (cheap at art stores, etc.). A small edge of the painting (1/16") will be obscured by the frame. Mailing not included.
Smaller or Larger Sizes:
Most of these pieces can be made smaller or larger. Many can be any size for the frame you prefer. Mandalas, for example, may be huge 32x40, if you choose, and if you're will to pay the extra money for the print and the framing material. However, some of the paintings will not do well to change size. Or, I will have to spend an amount of time (small or large) to make the changes. Frankly the time I will need to make the change will vary according to the piece.
Larger sizes will be the cost of my time + $10 per square foot so that a piece remade to 22x30 would cost $92 to $111, depending on the piece.
Mandalas at 22x22
would cost $74
Mandalas at 30x30 would cost $119
Mandalas at 10x10 would cost $56
These prices are subject to change (as I learn more about what marketing is!) :-))
