Out-of-Print Astrology Manuscript This is an excellent work that gives all the Astrological details you need in concise terms with lists of keywords/ No frills, just seeds and bones, the basic ingredients you require to get up to speed.
Though this book starts from the Beginning, it takes the Learner quickly to Intermediate. It gives the essentials and relies on the accompanying Manuscript book for greater details. The first 8 chapters work through the basics of Signs, Planets, Houses and Aspects in a manner to help quick learning. It elaborates in great detail how to interpret over 15 charts with a growing direction towards spiritual figures. The Intermediate Part of this book achieves several purposes: (1) Most important for the Beginner, it shows simply how to approach Planets, Signs, and Houses in a simplified form (2) It shows many approaches to interpreting and offers several ones the reader probably hasn't run into. (2) It gives specific examples of holistic therapy through use of charts. (3) It teaches us what transpersonal astrology and synthesis are. (4) It candidly discusses the disclosures of the author to permit specific understanding of behavior and psychological effects in astrology. The book gives and gives. So much is new. And it's all oriented to raising our consciousness through astrological counseling. Since Khier is a transpersonal therapist, he aims the work at the process of healing for spiritual growth. More than learning a lot, we actually get a new slant on astrology, counseling, and transpersonal approaches to God from Jungian angles and those of Psychosysnthesis; but mostly the direction is broad-based on astrological symbols. In India Khier studied spirituality from his Teacher, Kirpal Singh whose chart Khier reveals for us to understand what a realized person's is like in astrology. He also offers commentary on other spiritual beings, as well as their charts.
